Dr. Robert J. Benak is a General Pediatrician licensed by the Alabama Board of Medical Examiners and certified by the American Board of Pediatrics.

He earned his Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Alabama at Birmingham and completed his three-year Pediatric Residency Program at Children’s Hospital in Birmingham.

Dr. Benak joined Dothan Pediatric Healthcare Network in 1989 as a pediatrician at Dothan Pediatric clinic. He serves as Laboratory Director for each of the full-service labs of Dothan Pediatric Healthcare Network: Dothan (since 1989), Eufaula (since 2008), Enterprise (since 2012), and Ozark (since 2016).

Dr. Michael J. Ramsey is a General Pediatrician licensed by the Alabama Board of Medical Examiners and certified by the American Board of Pediatrics.

He earned his Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Alabama at Birmingham and completed his three-year Pediatric Residency Program at Children’s Hospital in Birmingham.

Dr. Ramsey joined Dothan Pediatric Healthcare Network in 1997 as a pediatrician at Dothan Pediatric Clinic.

Dr. Jeffrey M. Tamburin is a General Pediatrician licensed by the Alabama Board of Medical Examiners and certified by the American Board of Pediatrics.

He earned his Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Alabama at Birmingham and completed his three-year Pediatric Residency Program at Children’s Hospital in Birmingham.

Dr. Tamburin joined Dothan Pediatric Healthcare Network in 2002 as a pediatrician at Dothan Pediatric Clinic.

Dr. Mark F. Strassburg is a General Pediatrician licensed by the Alabama Board of Medical Examiners and certified by the American Board of Pediatrics.

He earned his Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of South Carolina, School of Medicine and completed his three-year Pediatric Residency Program at the University of Tennessee, Memphis.

As a young pediatrician, Dr. Strassburg practiced medicine in the United States Navy for four years. During the next five years, he practiced pediatric medicine in small southern towns until he joined Dothan Pediatric Healthcare Network in 2009 as a pediatrician at Dothan Pediatric Clinic.

Dr. Allison E. Walker is a General Pediatrician licensed by the Alabama Board of Medical Examiners and certified by the American Board of Pediatrics.

She earned her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences, Kansas City, Missouri and completed her three-year Pediatric Residency Program at University of Alabama at Birmingham.

Dr. Walker joined Dothan Pediatric Healthcare Network in 2015 as a pediatrician at Dothan Pediatric Clinic.

Dr. Meghan Benak is a General Pediatrician licensed by the Alabama Board of Medical Examiners and certified by the American Board of Pediatrics.

She earned her Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of South Alabama, College of Medicine, and completed her three-year Pediatric Residency Program at Louisiana State University, Children’s Hospital New Orleans.

Dr. Benak joined Dothan Pediatric Healthcare Network in 2019 as a pediatrician at Dothan Pediatric Clinic.

Dr. McKinley was born and raised in Dothan, Alabama. She is a graduate of the University of South Alabama where she received a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Science in 1997. She earned her Doctor of Medicine degree with Research Honors from the University of South Alabama in May 2002. She then completed a Pediatric Internship program at University of Alabama at Birmingham and a Pediatric Residency program at University of Mississippi Medical Center, Jackson, Mississippi.
Dr. McKinley has been certified in general pediatrics by the American Board of Pediatrics since 2005. Before joining Dothan Pediatric Clinic in the fall of 2008, Dr. McKinley was a pediatrician in Jackson, Mississippi and Birmingham, Alabama.
Dr. McKinley received the Southern Society for Pediatric Research Trainee Travel Award (1998) and America’s Top Pediatrician Award (2008). She is a proud member of the Alabama Chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics, the Medical Association of the State of Alabama and the Houston County Medical Society.

Dr. Amanda J. Murray is a General Pediatrician licensed by the Alabama Board of Medical Examiners and certified by the American Board of Pediatrics.

Dr. Murray received her Doctor of Medicine degree from Florida State University College of Medicine, Tallahassee, and completed her three-year Pediatric Residency program at Levine Children’s Hospital, Charlotte, North Carolina.

In 2018, Dothan Pediatric Healthcare Network welcomed Dr. Murray as a physician at Dothan Pediatric Clinic.

Dr. Adam DeLong is a general pediatrician licensed by the Alabama Board of Medical Examiners and board-eligible with the American Board of Pediatrics.
Dr. DeLong earned his Doctor of Medicine degree from Mercer University School of Medicine in Macon, Georgia and completed his three-year Harriet Lane Pediatrics Residency Program at Johns Hopkins University, Baltimore, Maryland.

In August 2022 Dothan Pediatric Healthcare Network welcomed Dr. DeLong as a pediatrician at Dothan Pediatric Clinic.

Amy Marshall is a Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner licensed by the Alabama Board of Nursing and certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner by the American Nurses Credentialing Center.

She earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from Atlantic Christian College, Wilson, North Carolina and earned her Master of Science in Nursing from the University of South Alabama. Her training includes the cardiac department at Flowers Hospital, cardiac rehab at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital, Albany, Georgia, and the neurology department at Pitt Memorial Hospital, Greenville, North Carolina.

Ms. Marshall joined Dothan Pediatric Healthcare Network in 2004 as a nurse practitioner at Dothan Pediatric Clinic.

Tera Knighton is a Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner licensed by the Alabama Board of Nursing and certified by the Pediatric Nursing Certification Board.

She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing and Master of Science degree in Nursing, Pediatric Nurse Practitioner, from the University of South Alabama, Mobile. Her training includes the newborn nursery at Southeast Alabama Medical Center and Dothan Pediatric Clinic.

Mrs. Knighton joined Dothan Pediatric Healthcare Network in 2008 as a nurse practitioner at Dothan Pediatric Clinic.

Braxton Kennedy is a Certified Family Nurse Practitioner licensed by the Alabama Board of Nursing and certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners Certification Board.

He earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Master’s in Nursing with a Family Nurse Practitioner concentration from the University of Alabama, Tuscaloosa, Alabama. His training includes Ozark Pediatric Clinic, Innovative Healthcare, and Flowers Hospital.

Mr. Kennedy joined Dothan Pediatric Healthcare Network in 2023 as a nurse practitioner at Dothan Pediatric Clinic.
